My Chauffeur takes your security seriously and takes reasonable steps to protect your information. No data transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. The following is a summary of the measures My Chauffeur takes to protect your information and descriptions of ways we implement these measures for different types of information you may provide to us.
My Chauffeur continues to evaluate and implement enhancements in security technology and practices; however we can only take steps to help reduce the risks of unauthorized access. Each individual using the Internet can take steps to help protect their information and further minimize the likelihood that a security incident may occur. Security Steps We Have Taken:

• Secure Socket Layer (SSL) - Credit Card Security
  My Chauffeur uses SSL* (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of personal information, such as name, address, email address etc. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed at the top or on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions. Any time My Chauffeur asks you for personal information on our website, it will be SSL encrypted. The information you provide will be stored securely on our servers. Credit Card information is not taken on-line but rather taken by phone and is stored off-line.  For more information on our policies and procedures involving your credit card information, click HERE.  Once you choose to store your credit card number with My Chauffeur, it will not be displayed back to you.  Instead, when we send you your reservation confirmation, you will only see asterisks and the last four digits of your number.
• When SSL is not available, we will ask you to send info by phone call and/or FAX. All information gathered via SSL, phone call or FAX is stored and maintained in secure facilities that limit access to authorized personnel only. However email and text message (except encrypted iMessage) is not secure and therefore we ask everyone to send sensitive data like credit card info only by SSL, voice call, FAX or encrypted iMessage. Do not send credit card info by email or unencrypted SMS text message. Voicemail is safe except there is a possibility (though remote) that a voicemail system has been hacked. Therefore we discourage communicating sensitive info via voicemail.
• Secure Storage
  My Chauffeur maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
• Vendors and Partners
  My Chauffeur works with vendors and partners to protect the security and privacy of user information.
• Employee and Contractor Access to Information
  My Chauffeur limits access to personal information about you to those employees who we reasonably believe need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to do their jobs.
• Education and Training for Employees
  My Chauffeur has implemented a company-wide education and training program about security that is required of every My Chauffeur office employee.
