Rooftop dining at Altabira City Tavern, in the high-end Hotel Eastlund. Like Top of the Cosmo, the new restaurant features stunning views of downtown Portland and the west hills.

Departure, is a pan-Asian restaurant on the Nines hotel top floor, and features two outdoor patios that are popular when the weather cooperates.

One of the popular features of the RiverPlace Hotel is its river-facing restaurant space, which has undergone numerous concepts over the years, including the long-running Three Degrees, a restaurant that borrows an idea from the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" website, offering the premise that Portlanders are connected to each other by no more than three personal connections. The menu is Northwest eclectic, but the real star is the restaurant's sweeping views of the Willamette and the Hawthorne Bridge.
