- Enjoy a late lunch at either Fort George Brewery (default; the place that reinvigorated the Astorian economy), Bowpicker Fish n Chips (best fish 'n chips) or famous chowder at a local restaurant.
- We'll see a few sights in Astoria (Fort Astoria {the 1st Columbia R anchorage with comfort & security} & Tidal Rock used by the Astor party) as time permits. Then...on the return, search for Bald Eagles in the marsh at the Twilight Eagle Sanctuary - 100 acres of wetlands and forest at the approximate site of the Lewis and Clark campsite on November 26, 1805.
