Let us make all the transportation/ payment/ tour arrangements for your group.  All you have to do is show up. You'll sacrifice nothing except stress. We've thought of everything.
We will:

• Completely plan & orchestrate your Portland area tours.
• Take care of lunches, tasting fees, admission fees, etc., for your group.
• Process group or individual payments for your group.  For individual payments, we ask for each individuals email or FAX information as to send them the payment form.

Step-On Guide

Welcome to THE NWs most beautiful place- PORTLANDIA. Show your tour passengers the best sights while learning about the historical landmarks with our local step-on guide. Let us plan out your perfect visit to Portlandia.

Step-On Guides are available for:

• Columbia River Gorge
• City tour
• Columbia River Gorge & Mt. Hood
• Oregon Coast
• Wine Tour

As of January 2023: 

• We will use YOUR Motor Coach.
• Guides are $60.00 PER HOUR with a 4 Hour Minimum.  Prices DO NOT include guide gratuity. 
• Guides must start and end in the CORE DOWNTOWN PORTLAND or a dead head fee starting at $50-$200 will be charged.  The further we have to send our guide the larger the fee due to increased transportation costs.
• We have 1 guide available for 1 motor coach. So if you have more than 1 motor coach, we can do consecutive tours, but not concurrent tours.
  
• If you would like to include / prepay gratuity, please let us know.  10-25% is standard. 
• A deposit of $100 is required to book. If your prefer to pre-pay for the tour, please be aware, that overage time charges may apply. A pre-paid tour would require a 20% guide gratuity.
• PARTICIPANTS have the responsibility of ensuring the Motor Coach has access to, and is allowed in all areas of the tour route and destinations. Restrictions may apply on the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway***, and possibly other areas.
• STEP-ON GUIDES supply tour narration, and can also assist you with hotel accommodations, activities and dining options. We can do as much or as little as you would like. Requests that need to be pre-arranged (making restaurant reservations, etc.) before your tour, will be quoted at additional cost. Please inquire.
• ​

​*We offer a combination of AI**, personal guide and Audio narration**, for a fully guided experience on all our step-on guide tours. And it's all accentuated by a variety of group-chosen podcasts**, tailored to your taste, which adds interest to the tour. Video narration is not offered, unless you take a My Chauffeur bus. 
**AI and Audio narration services are not guaranteed on motor coach tours, but we will supply it, if possible. With motor coaches, you can’t be sure what working accessories they will have with audio and video. So that can’t be guaranteed. If they’re not available, the guide will step in to cover the guiding for the most part. You’ll get a full guided experience even without audio and video, but they do enhance it.
***Access to the Columbia River Gorge historic highway is restricted in the areas between Crown Point Vista House and Multnomah Falls. We typically would go to Chanticleer Point, Crown Point Vista House, and then to Multnomah Falls and Bonneville Dam (on request).
